During Project Crystal Code, 7th grade students are invited to explore the role that decomposition and technology play in the restoration of coastal sage scrub! During this multi-week program, students are introduced to how we can use technology to protect our wild places. Virtual Project Crystal Code builds on ideas from Project Crystal as participants design computer models and construct and code sensors to investigate decomposition and the carbon cycle.
Join us from 9am-2pm in Moro Canyon for a professional development workshop for teachers participating in the Project Crystal Code 7th grade program for the 2022-2023 school year. Learn about the new research project that students will be studying this year, and how to incorporate the curriculum into your classroom.
