Where Your Dollars Stay

At Crystal Cove, revenue generated inside the park stays inside the park.

Unlike many destinations where profits leave the community, funds generated through cottage rentals, dining, retail, and visitor experiences at Crystal Cove State Park directly support the protection and care of this special place.

Through a unique partnership between Crystal Cove Conservancy, California State Parks, and Crystal Cove Management Company, revenue from the cottages, Park Store, Shake Shack, and Beachcomber Cafe helps fund:

  • Historic preservation of the Crystal Cove cottages
  • STEM education programs for thousands of students each year
  • Coastal conservation and habitat restoration projects
  • Visitor access improvements and park stewardship
  • Ongoing care for Crystal Cove State Park’s natural and cultural resources

This innovative public-private partnership has become a nationally recognized model for how parks, preservation, education, and public access can work together to sustain a place for future generations.
