Parking Information
Day Use Fees
- The California State Library Parks Pass offers vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state park units operated by State Parks to library-card holders. California public library-card holders can check out the vehicle day-use pass at their local public library. The California State Library Parks Pass is valid for entry of one passenger vehicle.
- Regular/Senior/Disabled: $5 per hour / $15 daily max.
- Parking is now pay upon entry and can be purchased through LAZ Parking. Visit a kiosk upon entry or scan a QR code in the parking lot.
- Parking Validation: Available to overnight guests of the Beach Cottages.
- Summer Weekend/Holiday Rate: $20
- Holiday Rate days vary and are subject to change.

Open and Closing Times
- The Los Trancos Parking lot is open from 6AM to 10PM.
- All other lots are open 6AM to sunset.
A limited number of Beach wheelchairs are located near all lots and near the Historic District which are available to both the disabled and the elderly. For more information click here!
Los Trancos Parking Lot
General Information
If you wish to visit the Historic District, the Park Store, the Beachcomber Café and/or the Cottages, we suggest parking at the Los Trancos parking lot.
Parking Availability
- In the Los Trancos Parking Lot: 444 Parking Spots, 11 Disabled Parking Spots
- In the Historic District: 5 Disabled Parking Spots.
Pelican Point Parking Lots
General Information
If you wish to visit the beach, the Historic District, the Park Store, the Beachcomber Café and/or the Cottages, we suggest parking at one of the Pelican Point lots.

If you wish to visit the Beach or hike through El Moro Canyon, we suggest parking at one of the Reef Point Parking Lots.

Moro Canyon Parking Lots
General Information
If you wish to hike through Moro Canyon and/or visit the Beach, we suggest parking at one of the El Moro Canyon Parking Lots.

- In the Lower Moro Lot by the beach: 112 Parking Spots are available, 2 Disabled Parking Spots
- In the Lower Moro Lot by the Berns Environmental Study Loop: 201 Parking Spots are available, 11 Disabled Parking Spots
