Lauren Bordages
Director of Development
Lauren Bordages joined Crystal Cove Conservancy in May 2023 and serves as the Director of Development, leading a comprehensive advancement strategy to support the Conservancy’s mission of environmental conservation and STEM education.
She oversees daily development operations, driving fundraising strategies, donor stewardship, and membership growth. Lauren manages corporate, foundation, and government funding, as well as fundraising initiatives and membership programs, strengthening the Conservancy’s long-term financial health. She also works cross-departmentally to align marketing and communications, increasing donor engagement and visibility.
Lauren holds a journalism degree from the University of Southern California and remains a loyal USC Trojans fan. When not at Crystal Cove, she and her husband cheer for their teenagers on the lacrosse field and volleyball court.
Favorite Spot at the Cove: Lauren’s favorite tradition at Crystal Cove is the annual Christmas tree lighting, a magical celebration of the holiday season.
