Just like you, scientists sometimes encounter plant or animal species that they aren’t familiar with. They use tools like field guides to identify species and learn more about them. During this investigation, you’ll use the app Seek by iNaturalist to identify plants and animals near your home. Then, use your science journal to make a field guide entry for one of the species that you identified.
