COVID-19 Policies for Crystal Cove Conservancy’s Programs as of October 2022:

During Crystal Cove Conservancy’s programs, participants, including students, teachers, chaperones and other guests are not required to wear masks indoors or outdoors. Staff is also not required to wear masks when outdoors, but will be asked to wear a face mask at all times when they are with groups in enclosed, indoor spaces. During the trips, the Conservancy can provide hand sanitizer, soap, and extra face coverings for anyone who may need one. 

Participants acknowledge awareness of the COVID-19 pandemic; That COVID-19 is primarily spread person to person by people who are in close contact with one another, defined as within six (6) feet, through respiratory droplets passed by infected persons (who may or may not show symptoms); Participants do not have any COVID-19 symptoms identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and has had no known recent exposure (14 days or less) to COVID-19. Participants understands the CDC has identified persons at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 include people 65 years and older and those with underlying medical conditions including but not limited to lung disease, heart conditions, immunocompromised, diabetes, and obesity; That there are risks and hazards associated with participation in this program.
