Beachcomber’s Lodge (Dorm-Style, Private Room)
Built in 1938, this five-bedroom, ADA-accessible bluff top cottage treats guests to two decks with gorgeous ocean views. This dorm-style cottage features an ocean side eat-in kitchen opening to decks on both sides, a small shared living area, and two full and two half shared bathrooms.
Room 38D
This spacious, ADA room boasts five-foot tall windows facing the ocean, a private entrance from the deck, and a bright, airy interior with one full and two twin beds.
Note
The need for an accessible cottage must be specified when the reservation is made. The person to whom the proof of disability was issued does not need to be the reservation holder, but must occupy the cottage for the entire stay. Valid proof of disability must be presented at check-in. Accepted documentation includes a valid permanent Disabled Person parking placard, Disabled Person license plates, Disabled Veteran license plates, a California State Parks Disabled Discount Pass, or similarly reliable documentation issued by another governmental entity. The reservation will not be honored and all fees will be forfeited if no qualified occupant is present or credible proof cannot be provided.

Significant construction activities are taking place in the Crystal Cove State Park Historic District. The construction process includes installing all new infrastructure and restoring the remaining cottages for public use as overnight rental cottages.
Construction activities will be most noticeable from the upper bluff cottages. Cottages #18, #29, #38 & #39 are located near the construction project entrance. The cottages located in the lower hollow will not be affected.
Construction activities are limited to weekdays from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, with no work on State or National holidays. Access to park facilities will not change.
The construction process may at times cause some inconvenience but we are certain that any short term inconvenience will be more than offset by the long term benefit of adding 22 additional overnight rental units all of which will be available to the general public.
