During Project Crystal Code, 7th-grade students are invited to explore decomposition and technology’s role in the restoration of coastal sage scrub!  During this multi-week program, students are introduced to how we can use technology to protect our wild places. Virtual Project Crystal Code builds on ideas from Project Crystal as participants design computer models and construct and code sensors to investigate decomposition and the carbon cycle.

Join us from 9am-2pm in Moro Canyon for a professional development workshop for teachers participating in the Project Crystal Code 7th grade program for the 2023-2024 school year. Learn about the new research project students will be studying this year, and how to incorporate the curriculum into your classroom.
