Crystal Cove and the California Dream traces unique Californian history through rare photographs, records, and artifacts drawn from UC Irvine Libraries’ Laura Davick Crystal Cove Historical Archive and Orange County Regional History Collections, with a special focus on the community that fought to save the historic cottages you can still visit today.

It’s a chance to transform seeing Crystal Cove from just blue water and warm sand into a place that represents how community and the natural world have met at the water’s edge time and time again.
