Hallie Jones
Executive Vice President
Hallie Jones joined The Conservancy as Executive Vice President in September 2023, providing organizational support and strategic development for The Conservancy’s suite of education, community engagement, conservation and advocacy programs.
With a deep commitment to inspiring people to protect our oceans and open spaces, Hallie has extensive conservation experience, spending over a decade in marine preservation at Santa Monica-based Heal the Bay before joining Laguna Canyon Foundation as Executive Director in 2013. She was elected to the City of Laguna Beach City Council in 2024, sits on the board of the Natural Communities Coalition and serves as an Orange County Parks Commissioner and on the Orange County Parks Trails Subcommittee.
Hallie is an avid hiker, backpacker, camper, and beach volleyball player. She lives in Laguna with her two children and a Labrador retriever named Atticus and has a lifelong dedication to making our ocean and wild spaces accessible to people from all walks of life, while protecting the very habitats we all love.

Hallie loves spending time in the back country and watching the waves. Her favorite thing about the Cove is the wildlife—especially the long-tailed weasel that makes a rare appearance around her office!
