Hyundai EARTH Club Celebrates Earth Day with Crystal Cove Conservancy
CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK, CA – In celebration of Earth Day, Crystal Cove Conservancy welcomed 40 enthusiastic volunteers from Hyundai’s EARTH Club for a hands-on, nature-based experience at Crystal Cove State Park. Split into two smaller groups, participants joined Public Programs Manager Erin Andreatta for back-to-back Explore the Cove science hikes exploring the park’s vibrant ecosystems, from its tidepools to coastal bluffs. Along the way, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help care for the land through targeted invasive species removal efforts. The program exemplified the Conservancy’s unique approach to conservation education—blending scientific exploration with stewardship action to foster deeper connections to the natural world. Thanks to a generous donation from Hyundai, this special private experience also helped support ongoing education and restoration efforts throughout the park. This event highlights Crystal Cove Conservancy’s commitment to creating meaningful corporate volunteer opportunities that inspire environmental responsibility and directly benefit the park’s long-term ecological health.
