Earth Day 2019

Do you love Crystal Cove State Park as much as we do? If so, we invite you to come down to the Cove this Saturday on April 20th for our annual Earth Day at Crystal Cove, where California State Parks and a team of volunteers will join efforts to complete much needed maintenance in the park. Sometimes our beloved park needs a little bit of TLC to look its best, and through the camaraderie of park visitors and the community, we can all help to make a difference!

From 9am-12pm participants will help beautify the park and make necessary repairs and spruce up landscaping, which will include weeding, trimming, sign maintenance, repairing wood rails, beach cleanup, and more. Anyone wanting to join in are welcome. It’s a great opportunity for the community to have a direct hand in helping the park look its absolute best.

Meet at the Los Trancos parking lot near the State Parks trailer. Day use fee is waived for any volunteers. Bring work gloves, water, sunscreen, a hat, and lunch. Please enjoy the park after a day of hard work! For any information regarding this event, contact winter.bonnin@parks.ca.gov.
