Crystal Cove State Park Named “Best California State Beach” by California State Parks Foundation
CRYSTAL COVE STATE PARK, CA — Crystal Cove Conservancy is proud to share that Crystal Cove State Park has been named Best California State Beach in the California State Parks Foundation’s 2025 Best of California’s State Parks awards.
The award comes as part of the Foundation’s inaugural statewide poll celebrating California’s 280 state park units. More than 1,300 Californians submitted nominations across categories such as hiking, camping, birdwatching, and more. Crystal Cove State Park was honored as the public’s favorite state beach for its wide sandy shores, vibrant tidepools, and iconic historic beach cottages — a coastal experience unlike any other.
