Back-to-school gratitude from Crystal Cove Conservancy
As students head back to school, we are pausing to thank our community of donors for the role they’ve played in their learning journeys.
Because of their support, students joined camps, internships, and hands-on STEM learning experiences right here at Crystal Cove State Park. Many built confidence as scientists and problem-solvers — and are now carrying a bit of Crystal Cove with them into the new school year.
After students participate in our programs, many send heartfelt thank-you notes. Some are filled with drawings of tidepools and sea stars. Others describe what it felt like to see the ocean for the very first time. These messages are powerful reminders of how meaningful these experiences are — and how much your support makes them possible.
This fall, we’ll welcome thousands more students to explore, discover, and connect with the coast. With continued support, this school year will be filled with discovery, wonder, and inspiration. Together, we’re not only sparking students’ love for the natural world but also helping to shape the next generation of environmental leaders through STEM education.
