Trailside Chat

Beachside Chat

Stop by Naturalist Laurel’s Beachside Chat table on Mondays August 12 & 26 from 11-2pm and learn about some of the fun and interesting animals that live at Crystal Cove State Park. Find Laurel and her bounty of nature props near the Historic District Education Commons by the Beachcomber Cafe.  Park in the Los Trancos lot (PCH inland at stoplight Los Trancos then walk through the tunnel or take the shuttle.) Day-use fee: $5/per hour (max. $15).

Bluff Walk Scavenger Hunt

Join a Park Naturalist and learn “What’s Out There” at Crystal Cove State Park on this fun guided one-mile nature scavenger hunt along the bluff trail to the overlooks, along the wooden boardwalk and back on August 9, 22, & 29 from 9-10am.  Meet at Pelican Point parking lot #4 near the parking lot (PCH coastward at Newport Coast, left at kiosk to the end lot.)  $15 day-use fee.
