SUMMARY:Coastal Dynamics - In-person Training
DESCRIPTION:During the Coastal Dynamics program\, high school students step into the shoes of coastal engineers as they determine how Crystal Cove State Park’s beaches are changing over time.  During this multi-week program\, participants build computer models to show how our coastline is changing\, investigate the challenges that this creates for coastal enclaves like the Crystal Cove Historic District\, and explore possible solutions. \nJoin us for an in-person training for teachers participating in the Coastal Dynamics Program for the 2022-2023 school year to learn about the field trip and how to integrate the curriculum into your classroom.  \nThis program is strongly linked to learning outcomes for Engineering\, AP Environmental Science\, Physics\, and Geometry\, and can connect to other classes\, too. \nPlease contact Erick at erick@crystalcove.org with any questions. \nRegister for this webinar below: \nFill out my LGL Form!
