DESCRIPTION:If you always wanted to be a hiker but didn’t know where to start\, Hiking 101 was made with you in mind. An optional 8-10AM hike will warm you up for the main event from 10AM-12PM\, where your guide Dana Hunter will teach you everything you need to know to continue your hiking journey: mindful preparation\, choosing trails appropriate for your fitness level\, and what gear you’ll need to get started. Dana’s hiking hacks and drawings will help you jump into the hobby of a lifetime!  \nThe first 15 groups to sign up will receive a free goodie bag from Mother’s Market (one bag per group)! Bring $15 to pay for parking and an optional fold-out chair to lounge in during presentations. \nDana\, a long time Crystal Cove State Park volunteer\, has been hiking for over 30 years. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate over 100 years of plein air art at Crystal Cove State Park. Spend a relaxing day capturing the beauty of the Cove on canvas with the guidance of a Crystal Cove plein air artist! No experience required; this introductory class is recommended for novices only. \nTime: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM\nInstructor: Debbie Morines\nLocation: Cottage #13 (The Beaches Cottage)\, Historic District\, Crystal Cove State Park\nWhat to Bring: Water\, sunscreen\, a lunch\, long sleeve shirt\, hat\, and stool or chair (optional)\nParking: $15 Day Use fee per vehicle; free with State Parks annual pass.\nPrice: $100 per workshop; $85 for Crystal Cove Conservancy members. \nAll supplies will be provided! Class size is limited to 12. Minimum age is 18. \nFill out my LGL Form!\n \nArt Class Cancellation Policy\nAny cancellation or transfer requests must be received by Crystal Cove Conservancy at least 72 hours before the start of the event. No refunds or transfers will be issued for no-shows or for change requests received after this time. You may request a cancellation by emailing Chelsea at chelsea@crystalcove.org. In the event of participant illness within 24 hours of the event\, or cancellation on behalf of Crystal Cove Conservancy due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances\, Crystal Cove Conservancy will offer participants the choice of a refund or a transfer to a comparable event\, if available.
