Welcome to Project Crystal – Webinar for Educators
March 9 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
During Project Crystal, 5th grade students are invited to virtually take part in ecological research in Moro Canyon! As your students help Crystal Cove Conservancy, Crystal Cove State Park, and UC Irvine study the best way to help native seedlings grow, they’ll learn about concepts like plant ecology, the water cycle, and how we can use science ideas to protect our wild places. This program is aligned with Next Generation Science Standards for fifth grade. The curriculum includes six learning modules, each with 2-3 hours of flexible activities to incorporate into your online or hybrid classroom.
Join us for a 90 minute webinar for teachers participating in the Virtual Project Crystal 5th grade program for the 2020-2021 school year on Tuesday March 9th at 3:00pm. Learn about the project that students will be studying this year, and how to incorporate the curriculum into your online classroom.
