Seaweed and Sea Creatures Walk
January 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The 165+ species of seaweed in Orange County provide food and shelter for more than just flies. In myriad colors, designs and sizes, they form the base of the marine food chain. Join us for a Seaweeds & Sea Creatures Walk at Crystal Cove State Park on Saturday, January 18 at 10am and see who eats them, who lives in them, how they are important to the ecosystem….and why they are in your ice cream and lipstick. Meet at Pelican Point parking lot #2, at the top of the boardwalk near the parking lot (PCH coastward at Newport Coast, right at kiosk to first lot.) $15 day-use fee.
