Data Visualization for Community Science Projects – Webinar for Educators
December 8 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Crystal Cove Conservancy partners with Crystal Cove State Park and local researchers to understand the best way to protect the park’s ecosystems, but we can’t do it alone. We’ve created environmental challenges that students can help solve online. These challenges might include analyzing a large data set and sharing your findings back with us or developing and testing solutions to an engineering challenge.
Join us for a 1 hour webinar for educators to learn about these environmental challenges, and how to use different data visualization tools to help students interpret data and construct explanations. The different environmental challenges align with different Next Generation Science Standards for middle school and high school.
