Crystal Cove Conservancy celebrates 20th Platinum Anniversary Fundraiser
Crystal Cove Conservancy is proudly celebrating our Twentieth Platinum Anniversary at our annual Soirée fundraiser being held in Crystal Cove State Park on Saturday, October 5, 2019. This milestone year is dedicated to our passionate and loyal Cove supporters – past, present and future.
Without you, the Cove magic might have been lost forever. This year’s event will celebrate all that has been accomplished and all that is still to come. The evening will begin with cocktails on the blufftop overlooking the beach followed by an elegant dinner party under the stars from the culinary team at The Resort at Pelican Hill, our title sponsor. We’ll wrap up the evening with dancing to Motown hits from the Blue Breeze Band.
And in honor of her tireless commitment to saving Crystal Cove 20 years ago, at this Platinum Anniversary, we will be recognizing our Founder, Laura Davick, a third generation “Coveite,” who has dedicated her life to advocating for environmental protection, historic preservation, and education at Crystal Cove.
Funds raised at the Soirée provide essential support for The Conservancy to continue its mission to fund the initiatives that will cultivate our planet’s next generation of environmental stewards. This past school year, a record number of 5,800 students participated in our educational programs, with 71% of those students coming from underserved schools. Our reach continues to grow and make an impact – we have come a long way since 2013 when we served 560 children!
This year’s event is almost sold out. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please visit our website: crystalcove.org/soiree/sponsorship/
