Beachside Chat

Learn about some of the fun and interesting animals that live at Crystal Cove State Park on Saturday, January 20 from 12-3pm at the Historic District Education Commons where Park Naturalist Alex will host a Beachside Chat.  Park in the Los Trancos lot (PCH inland at stoplight Los Trancos then walk through the tunnel or take the shuttle.) Day-use fee: $5/per hour (max. $15).

Family Hike

Winter is an exciting time to learn about our local nature.  Join park naturalists on a family nature hike at Crystal Cove State Park to learn about the plants and animals living in the park on Sunday, January 7 & Sunday, January 21 at 9am.  Meet at the Berns Amphitheater (PCH inland at stoplight School-State Park follow the signs to the Campground/Moro day use.)  $15 day-use fee.

Historic District Tour

Take a walk through the renovated 12-acre Historic District at Crystal Cove State Park. Tidepool Walk to Little Treasure Cove

Enjoy a guided tidepool walk to Little Treasure Cove on Sunday, January 28 at 11:30am when the tide will fall to a super low -1.1.  A volunteer will help identify animals and describe some awesome adaptations.  Meet at Pelican Point parking lot #1, (PCH turn coastward at Newport Coast, right at the kiosk to the end.) Tennis shoes suggested.  $15 day-use parking fee.

Help us learn more about Moro Canyon’s Ecosystem at Field Science Saturday on Saturday February 10th from 9:30-11:30 am!
